Release of Update 6 for Speednet 3.1.2 (15122011)

                 CEPT Mysore released update 6 for Speednet 3.1.2 (15122011).  The salient features of Update 6 for Speednet 3.1.2 are furnished hereunder.

1.  Revision of Domestic Speed Post tariff w.e.f 01.10.2012 

vide BD Dte lr.no. 57-06/2011-BD&MD (pt) dated 21.09.2012.

2.  Restructuring of Speed Post Discount structure 

vide BD Dte lr.no. 57-03/2012-BD&MD dated 24.09.2012.

3.  Inclusion of 'South Africa' in the list of countries for Speed Post booking as per new EMS 

Standard Agreement between South Africa and India Post communicated

 vide Dte (GB) lr.no. 38-6/2010-DA dated 17.08.2012.

4.  Revision in the method of calculation of taxes and their

rounding off communicated vide BD Dte lr.no. 57-0/2011-BD&MD dated 21.09.2012. 

As per the latest communication, Service Tax, Edn. Cess and Higher Edn. Cess are to 

be rounded off together to the nearest rupee value instead of the current method of rounding 

up to the next higher rupee value.

5.  New Speednet Communication (C#.Net) module, which will replace the old Speednet

 Communication (VB 6.0).

Revision of Speed Post Tarriff w.e.f 01.10.2012.

Holding of PA/SA Direct Recruitment for 2011 & 2012 through approved Outsourced Agency

              Directorate vide Lr No: No. A-34012/5/2011-DE dated 25th September 2012 ordered to dispense with sale of application forms and also online registration of Applications upto 20:00 Hours on 25-09-2012. However, in order to benefit the candidates who have registered their online applications till 20:00 Hours of 25-09-2012, the Agency will provide the applications to their e-mail IDs. As such candidates may be permitted to pay their application fee and examination fee in the form of ACG-67/UCR upto the last date prescribed for receipt of application i.e. 01-10-2012.

7 % DA/DR Hike for Central Govt Employees & Pensioners

               

      As expected, Cabinet on this day approved hike of 7% in dearness allowance/Dearness Relief (DA/DR) for Central Government Employees & Pensioners w.e.f 01.07.2012. That is, the DA/DR will now be 72 per cent ( 65% + 7%) of basic pay/Pension.

Inspector Posts 2012 rescheduled on 13th and 14th of October

         

        It is reliably learnt that the LDCE for promotion to the cadre of Inspector Posts (66.66%) Departmental Quota for the year 2012, which was postponed earlier, and scheduled to be be held on 13th and 14th October, 2012. 

The examination will be conducted in all Circle Head Quarters except Tamil Nadu Circle.

              Smt Vasavi Banavathu, assumed the charge of Inspector Posts, Narayanpet Sub Divsion on 21/09/2012 forenoon, on completion of training. It is already known that Madam Vasavi  came successful in LDCE of IP 2011.

Whole hearted farewell to Shri Naga Aditya Kumar ASPOs(Hqrs) Mahbubnagar

Shri Naga Aditya Kumar ASPOs(H), O/o SPOs Mahbubnagar Division, Mahbubnagar relieved on 14.09.2012 afternoon. It is known that Shri Naga Aditya Kumar came out successful in LDCE PS Group B and posted as SPOs, Parvathipuram Division.

A farewell was organised by Recreation Club, Divisional Office. Respected SPOs, IP(E), IP(W), all Divisional Office Staff members attended the function. All the staff members wished all the very best to Shri Naga Aditya Kumar in his new assignment.

Due to huge sale of PA/SA application forms, CMC informed, it is difficult to print further forms within short period. Directorate decided to upload the forms in www.indiapost.gov.in so as to download by the applicants.

Online application kits will be available in www.indiapost.gov.in from 03.09.12 to 25.09.12 only.

Those applied through OMR kits need not apply again.

Enter the details like a. Name b.DoB c.e mail ID d. Alternative e mail ID.

Click Submit button.

After completion of said process, KIT will be received to the e-Mail ID submitted by the applicant within 24 hours.

IP EXAM 2012 POSTPONED

Directorate vide memo No. A-34012/07/2012-DE dated 6th September, 2012 communicated the postponement of Inspector Posts Examination for the year 2012, to till further orders. The fresh dates are yet to be Announced.
